About Healing the Scars

Healing The Scars, Inc. is a New Mexico Non-Profit organization whose mission is to assist those affected by war, violence and abuse through a variety of transformative modalities and therapies. When used collaboratively, those affected by PTSD and other symptoms can find greater relief and the restoration of balance, self-assurance and self-esteem. The goal of Healing The Scars is to establish trauma healing centers around the world that use this collaborative model for healing from trauma and suffering.

Treatment includes a variety of disciplines that work synergistically to offer relief and a new life direction through the release of patterns that have been inculcated through traumatic experience. Various Energy Healing Modalities, such as The Emotion Code®, The Body Code®, The Belief Code®, HeartThread® can all be used in conjunction with Spiritual Guidance and Ministry, Psychotherapy, Art, Music and Dance Therapies, drama, gardening and time in Nature and with animals. Treatments are supplemented with follow-up mentorships, group support systems and vocational training.

This is the Vision. The results achieved so far, through the use of the modalities we offer, reveal evidence of what is possible when the field is expanded to include the above collaborations. HTS (Healing The Scars, Inc.) is not yet a 501(c)3 organization. It currently operates under the Umbrella of Soul Support Systems, Inc.
